RIB MOUNTAIN — As the snow melts away at Granite Peak Ski Area, season pass holders and frequent visitors say conditions were better than usual at the slopes this winter.

GREEN BAY Daniel Joseph Pfiester, 23, of Green Bay, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, in Ashwaubenon, Wis., the result of an automobile accident. Dan was born on April 14, 1983, in Escanaba, the son of Dan and Lona Pfiester.
